General features: It is a very productive, bushy and compact plant. It has small branches with few thorns and dark green lanceolate leaves. Flowering is mainly in summer and the flowers are small, white and fragrant, arranged singly. Its fruits are small and round, resembling miniature oranges.
Curiosity: In a sheltered environment the round kumquat can withstand temperatures as low as -10°C.
