It has elliptical, sharp-edged, deep green leaves and purple-coloured buds, arranged in groups and singly. The fruits are elongated, with a pronounced neck in the peduncular area and an umbo apex. They have a thin, very smooth, deep yellow skin.

Curiosity: The lunar lemon is also called '4 season lemon' due to its ability to flower and bear fruit in all months of the year.
